The street dance culture has been introduced to China since theearly 1990s and has been innovatively developed.From unfamiliar to beingpopular in young people, who loves street culture. Domani architectural concepts was invited to create Beijing Sanlitun store for the first hip-hop brand in China. It is designed to explain the chaos, liveliness, excitement, fun and burning flame of urban dancers.
Inspired by the skyline of the city to create ceiling structure, the ambient light reflecting the space character, metaphor the intrinsic nature within form,the fusion and determination of modern dancers. The power of youth, the battle of black and white, the engagement of light and darkness, rendering blue from sea, settle brown from the ground, brightness, fitness, creating a space visual impact of contrast and composition.
Everlasting dream is the spirit of street dancing. The organic and fresh style, the rhythm of lighting thunder, the positive attitude is existing in the whole space. Photo chromic light, telescoping stage, cooperate with different occasion. All the space elements are supporting the characteristic expression.
Follow the rhythm and control the movement, dancing is an interpretation of spiritual, as same as design, the immersive spatial experience, the flow of dancers, the understanding of unspoken, and finally develop into a morphological line game. In fact, you don't need to deliberately interpret anything, the emotion and spirit, rhythm and melody are self-explained.
Combined consideration of both celebrities and guest circulation line, the L-shaped space is divided into 3 regular sections, the west area is for student use, with a reception, waiting area and multi-function area, the south zone is a celebrities use only dancing studio, with a VIP lounge, dressing room and individual passage. The zone between is staff area and interaction are, the product and brand culture display areas are located at west and north entrances.
The black sand steel bracket and the colored glass are combined into different levels of modules to outline the futuristic façade. The metal handle of the glass door of the entrance of the store is engraved with the hip hop plaque, and the logos of different forms are ingeniously found, designed as part of the space, subtly immersed in the viewer's consciousness - the logo is the most direct interpreter of the brand, the use of logos development enhance the brand culture.
A logical way of thinking tends to induce designers to repeat themselves. Domani concept is to reverse way of thinking. The multi-functional area inverts the whole city image as a canopy. The independent celebrity dance studio infinitely enlarges the brand logo for the universe. The logo wall of the reception desk is enlarged by the "6" display. The glass of the same specification is arranged in different directions, through the light. The illumination exhibits a three-dimensional rich light and shadow effect. The more you are shunned, the more you become a shackle. It is better to have a big show and integrate it into the design.
Orderly displayed products and brandshas breaking the hip-hop style in the traditional sense, the structure contains different display racks and display cabinets, produce the overall collocation reform series of product vision effect. The power glass showcase magnifies the impact of the product simulate museum. The horizontal and vertical display on the wall combines different geometric patterns, the texture and material.
